Autumn Adventure Weekend
What is Autumn Adventure Weekend (AAW)? The Autumn Adventure Weekend is a fundraising event sponsored by the e-Rotaract Club of Rotary District 7490. Our "Networked Service Organization" is raising funds to benefit youth service initiatives in Bergen, Hudson, and Passaic counties. In return for the fees collected we will offer a weekend of outdoor fun, relaxation, challenge, food and fellowship. Family, friends, and especially groups and teams of your peers are welcome to attend.
When is the event? AAW 2008 will begin Friday October 24th and end Sunday October 26th. Arrival begins Friday evening at approximately 7:00 PM. We will depart camp after lunch on Sunday.
Who can come to AAW? The short answer is - anyone! Whether participants are looking for an active weekend of adventure, or simply a weekend away from the stress of work with no activity at all, Camp Bryn Mawr can offer either one - or something in between. Our skilled staff can execute customized team-building if required as well. There will be activities for all ages and physical abilities. If you have ideas just ask! Attendees under age 18 must have a parent or guardian with them.
How much does it cost? This year's AAW rates are $100 for students, $115 for non-students. Registration includes arrival on Friday night or Saturday morning (your choice), a Friday night snack, 5 buffet meals (3 Saturday and 2 Sunday) with Saturday steak dinner! All activities are included. It's an incredible deal!
Where does AAW take place? Dan Kagan, the owner of the Bryn Mawr Mountain conference facility in Honesdale, PA, has graciously given us the use of his beautiful center at cost. His donation allows us to put on an amazing event for low overhead and to donate more money to our service initiatives. Please consider Bryn Mawr Mountain for all of your conference needs.
